Meet the Director - Hubert Robertson

We are pleased to introduce to you, our experienced, versatile, and friendly Director, Hubert Robertson.

Hubert is a certified Project Management Specialist and professional Trainer who brings decades of experience to PMIG Inc. He has worked at the senior technical and managerial levels in organizations that were governmental, non-government, or quasi-government; financial, development, production-oriented, and commercial, and he has managed at senior levels in large and small institutions, some of which were foreign-based. He has been involved in projects funded by the IADB, USAID, the EU, CIDA, and UNDP in various capacities including Project Management, General Training, Competency-Based Training, Grants Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Project and Strategic Planning, Community Development, Democracy & Governance, Human Rights, Entrepreneurship, Small Business, and Agricultural Development, Low-cost housing and Environment. He has performed consultancies within the areas mentioned above.

Hubert holds a Master's Degree in General Management; a Master's Degree in Business Administration; a Post-Graduate Diploma in Project Management; and three first degrees in Management, Accountancy, and Agriculture. He has over the years, undergone intensive professional training in Project and Programme Management, and Project and Enterprise Risk Management. He received local and international training which includes Project Management, Grant and Credit Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Training Methodologies, and SME Development.

He is a member of the Project Management Institute - (PMI) International; a member of the Southern Caribbean Chapter of PMI, and a currently certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP). 

He is a Duly admitted and licensed Certified International Project Manager of the American Academy of Project Management, Designatory letters CIPM; Duly admitted and licensed Master Project Manager of the American Academy of Project Management, Designatory letters MPM; and Duly admitted Fellow of the American Academy of Project Management, Designatory letters FAAPM. He is a PECB Certified ISO 21502 Senior Lead Project Manager (SLPM) and is also a member of the North American Small Business International Trade Educators. (NASBITE) and completed a Business Fellowship Program at the Small Business Development Centre (SBDC) of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, USA.

At the technical level in PMIG Inc. Hubert currently functions as a Project Management Consultant, Course Creator and Training Facilitator.
